Corporate Magician for hire

Looking to hire a corporate magician for your company holiday party and not quite sure how to vet the right talent for your event. Here are 5 simple things to do to ensure you get top talent that fits your budget.

1. Do you research and make sure your hiring a professional not uncle charlie who performs magic once and a while, but has a website saying he is a professional magician. This is the biggest complaint I hear from clients after they booked talent for an event based on budget. You get what you pay for!

2. Ask for reference most working professional have references to share with potential clients, remember it's your name on the line when your booking a magician or hypnotist. So make sure your getting a qualified professional for your event.

3. Don't just book someone right off the internet through sites like thumbtack or gig salad, look at their website and check out their promotional material. Have a phone conversation this is my number 1 must do with every client I am going to work for. I want to make sure all expectations are addresses.

4.List to the professionals recommendations for your event, yes you are the party planner but might not know how magic or hypnosis will fit into your event. So make sure you take the advise of the magician of when it's best incorporate the magic into your event. Also what type of show will best suit the needs of your event.

5.Ask to see some magic! You are the best judge at knowing what your looking for so meet the magician in person or via Skype if distance is and issue for you.
